Description
The Columbia River Gorge slices thhrough the Cascade Mountain Range, allowing water from large portions of the USA and Canada to drain into the Pacific Ocean. On the border between Washington and Oregon the river has shaped the spectacular scenery of the Gorge. Just east of Portland Oregon lies the entrance to the Gorge, captured in this digital artwork. This eastward looking scene, where where nountains, river, and a stunning sky expand westward from the horizon, captures the fiver as it passes through the Gorge on the final leg of its journey to the Pacific Ocean.
